My daughter and I ran a rock through a glass that I bought. We used the sand and rocks out without problems, but when using the Pole, who came out shining. Any idea why?
As Tinker gave a good answer - usually you have not, run long enough in each grain (or have the wrong type of rocks - Agates are best, that's what I usually put in the glass of kits). It also helps add a little detergent powder for polishing. But the Polish cycle must be very very fresh - even a little grit from a previous cycle spoil it. Moreover, many people underestimate the time it takes. Good Tumbling takes weeks rather than days. You can go a step back from grain and a duration of one week and then try a new batch of glaze with a little soap powder (1 / 2 teaspoon). Of course I'm sure they're thrilled with the idea a few weeks of grinding, clump, a hit all night ... ha ha so it is more polished and easy to buy. But it is a good lesson in the time it takes nature to create these bright rocks on the beach ...

Even if the delicate pieces are used to tumble they will be polished safely, brilliantly and completely.
The most amazing and unbelievable thing about the rock jewellery tumbler is that it can also tumble the diamonds and glass crystals too with no damage. Diamonds like Swarovski can also be tumbled. The only formula that should be used for tumbling is the use of stainless steel pellet and an inch or half or few drops of liquid dishwashing detergent. This is not hard to follow.
