sea glass?
I'm trying to make sea glass in a glass of rock, but always has scratches from sand grain high! Are there any super fine grain type we can fall into good. I have heard that sand is mixed with water, taking the froth that forms on top powder sand and using the call. Does that work?
You need to run through several cycles, beginning of course, such as sand grain # 80 silicon carbide, and then finer and finer grain to a fine polish end as cerium oxide and tin oxide. A glass polish glass vibration better than a glass of Rotary, and the addition plastic pellets, ground walnut shells, dish soap, sugar, Karo syrup, or something similar to help reduce impact damage in soft materials crystal. The idea is to make finer and finer stripes in the material you are working to meet the larger striped until they are too small to view. In some large peices of grain will still scratch, so make sure that everything clean between each step or you'll get more fine-grained way in steps and still have the deepest scratches.
